VYeah. Luckily I had my ex passport details. And still had to add ex name to passport. But passport was important so I had to let it go.
May be try different bls center?

VI was in similar situation. But I applied for passport while my divorce was being processed in Canada so didn’t have issues. I just applied as married.Now after I got citizenship, I just submitted my Canadian divorce certificate for passport surrender and they took it without any issues.
Is there possibility to just apply as married and get the Indian passport? Later you can file for surrender with Canadian divorce certificate.
