Lawyer here. I am unable to understand your query. Can you break it down and clarify it?

        Lawyer here.
Your liability to pay two months rent shall only arise, if the Agreement states that the contract shall automatically be renewed unless either party has given a two month notice to the other party informing them of their desire to not renew the context or something to that effect.
In general, such clauses don’t exist and notice/payment in lieu of notice is only relevant when one wants to vacate during the term of the Agreement.
        Hope this helps.

I don’t have personal experience there. But I asked my colleague and she said it will be minimum 10-15l to get a senior to the cbi court which is a trial court and so you end up paying a premium.

            You’re welcome.
Every State/Court has different brackets. But 75k an appearance would be the bare minimum I believe. If you tell me the relevant jurisdictional court, I can maybe give you a better idea.

Hi, lawyer here. To answer your questions,
              1. It will be difficult to engage the services of a senior lawyer solely with your salary income.
              2. Yes your case can be represented in the CBI court by a lawyer who is not a designated senior.
              3. Briefing a senior lawyer definitely can be helpful. However, a competent lawyer (without the senior designation) can also successfully cater to your case. You should aim to find someone local with experience of corruption matters and engage them to handle your case.
3a. Further, you can explore the option of asking the lawyer you engage to have the drafts of all the major filings be settled by a senior.
              Hope this helps.
              Best wishes for your matter.

Lawyer here. First, viz. the lawyer, please collect all evidences and file a complaint with the Bar Council as also file an FIR.
Second, in so far as the Sale transaction, when you say the Sale deed is from yourself to yourself, do you mean you signed and acted on behalf of the owner as a GPA holder? Because even post the GPA, the title will vest with the owner and therefore he and only he could be the seller. Please elucidate on what exactly happened.

Hi, lawyer here. My sympathies with you for the position you find yourself in. My best wishes to you for going forward.
In so far as your marriage is concerned, both the spouses clearly don’t want for it to continue further. You should have a discussion with your husband and try for a mutual consent divorce. It ensures a no frills divorce process. However, if he is unwilling to do so, you will have to file for a contested divorce, and that is going to be both time and resource consuming and also liable to get dirty depending on the legal advice offered and the approach the parties take. Thus, my advice will be to push in any way possible for a mutual consent divorce.
Second, as far as your father is concerned, as it is not a legal matter, I can only offer general remarks. Also, I am not clear, how is your father in a position to take away your job. If you elucidate, I may be able to help.
In any event, you must trust yourself to be able to ensure job continuity or to find a new job at the earliest. Also, in a lot of cases, parents while originally against divorce, do eventually make their peace with it.
                  Hope this helps.
                  Best wishes.

Hi, lawyer here, based out of Delhi/Bombay.
Firstly, I will like to say that the events that your friend has been made to suffer are horrible and inhumane to say the least. Your friend’s decision to reach out shows her strentgh and is praiseworthy.
Will be happy to chat and make suitable suggestions/recommendation.
                    Best wishes and warm regards.

Hi, lawyer this side. Please file an FIR in both cities. Treat it as two separate incidents in two different jurisdictions.
However, if it will be difficult to continue with a case in the origin city, then proceed with a FIR solely at the destination city. Do mention the entirety of the incident from the origin to the destination cities.
Unless the victim is a minor, POCSO shall not apply.
                      Hope this helps.
                      Best wishes.

PS: Collect and save all the evidence. If you have to get any from airport/airline there will be a time limit till which they keep the recordings. Intimate the airline/airport and ask them to preserve all the relevant recordings and attach a copy of all previous communication as well as the FIR.

First, the question to be determined is what does winning look like? It can mean getting a good settlement viz. Alimony et al, or it can mean sending the guy to jail, et cetera.

Second, the chances of winning will depend on (i) what constitutes a win; (ii) the evidence that you can produce in support of your case, and (iii) the approach of the relevant local court; (iv) the quality and approach of legal counsel of both sides.

However, even without having reviewed/knowing any of the above, I must state that legal action in India is generally expensive and time consuming.

I suggest that you may approach NGO’s/non-profits who assist in such cases and they may be able to get you proper legal assistance without it becoming an economic burden.

                        Hope this helps.

Lawyer here. Do not agree to a mutual consent divorce.

Consult a local lawyer and tell them your priorities, I.e. punishment, alimony et al, and thereafter seek his advice on strategy depending on the priorities.

My advice will be before going to the lawyer, you, your sister and your family need to ensure you are clear as to what you seek from the proposed legal action(s). This clarity will both help the lawyer in giving the best advice and will also act as a guard rail against any bullish advice from the lawyer.
                          Hope this helps.
                          Best wishes.

Lawyer here. First of all my sympathies are with you. I am sure recounting the trauma for posting will have been difficult and it shows your courage and bravery.

Second, the persons actions constitute various crimes including sexual assault as per the criminal laws of this country.

I will suggest that you consult a local lawyer specializing in this field and take it from there.

In case you need any further assistance, I will be more than happy to help here.

And lastly, I will also advise you to consider therapy for the trauma caused.

                            Hope this helps.

                            Best wishes and warm regards.
