As a rule, please don’t get involved in other people’s financial transactions. Don’t be a middleman. This 6 months, 3 months thing was weird af. Follow up with the police.

Hire a detective to first figure out his place of business. They would have given some identification documents. Maybe lodge an FIR for theft of property items.

Where is the insurance policy, its documents and card? You don’t need an agent anymore. Directly do it online from a reputed company. About loan, please check with him. The interest rates are atrocious. Sometimes i too get a message that so and so loan has been approved. You can actually ascertain if it’s true by checking the actual portal. Or sometimes the links they give for such loan approval are nothing but scams.
