This Grievance Redressal Policy is published pursuant to Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and §13 of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. It describes how you can raise a complaint with LawyerBuddy and how we will respond.
Write to grievance@lawyerbuddy.io including:
Login issues, wallet top-up discrepancies, double charges, OTP delivery failures, account suspension queries.
Errors in automated responses, factually wrong citations, content moderation concerns. (Automated responses are general information, not legal advice — see our Disclaimer.)
Unresponsive Counsel, scope disputes, escrow holds and releases, off-platform solicitation, refund requests. See our Refund & Escrow Policy.
Requests to access, correct, erase, or transfer your personal data; consent withdrawal; data-breach concerns. Submitted to the Grievance Officer who acts as the Privacy point of contact.
Reports of impersonation, harassment, illegal content, threat, or other safety issues affecting any user.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate as follows:
We reserve the right to disregard repetitive, vexatious, or anonymous complaints that do not contain sufficient information for us to identify the account or the issue. We may also suspend accounts of users who file demonstrably bad-faith complaints intended to harass other users or the Counsel community.
