April 27, 2025 at 5:34 amAdvocate based out of Hyderabad here. It’s advisable that you immediately approach a local lawyer who understands the RWA laws and who deals with such cases. The by laws of the RWA have to be gone through to give you a comprehensive advice in this situation.
Facts that you have narrated are extremely limited, however, from what I understand there are two options (1) suit against the RWA (this will depend on a host of factors, and a thorough understanding of the RWA by laws), and (2) complaint against the formed MC before the Registrar of Societies.

March 26, 2025 at 5:47 pmPractising advocate here.A contested divorce can take up to 3-5 years, provided, the matter is not being adjourned unnecessarily (which almost never happens)
Also, if your wife is litigious and vengeful, she can file a myriad of cases such as 498A, domestic violence, maintenance for herself as well as the children, custody case over the kids etc. I am not trying to scare you, but I am telling you how things run in this country.
I would strongly suggest that you try your best for a mutual consent divorce rather than a contested divorce.

March 22, 2025 at 3:08 pmThe offence is of 2023 (look at the Crime No.), BNS came into effect from 01/07/24. Offences registered prior to that date will still be governed by IPC.AArunninja214

March 22, 2025 at 8:46 amAdvocate based out of Hyderabad here. You need to engage a lawyer immediately. It appears that the person who paid the 1 lakh amount to you might have been involved in some or the other cyber crime, and his bank account may have been under scrutiny by the police. The cyber crime guys will treat all the transactions out of the said bank account as suspicious. Since you have received 1 lakh Rupees, they blocked your account. There seems to be an ongoing investigation which is being undertaken by the cyber crime guys.If you need any help, feel free to reach out.

March 20, 2025 at 6:56 amPractising advocate here.At the beginning of my career, I was faced with these questions, and now after completing 7 years of practise I have come to realize a few things.
Every person, regardless of the severity or heinousness of the crime committed by such a person, has a basic right to be represented before a court of law. If an advocate has agreed to represent anyone before a court of law, she / he has to take up every possible defense that is available for the criminal. Moreover, the Advocates Act mandates that an advocate cannot say no to a matter.
It is not the advocate who decides whether an accused is a criminal / convict, it is the court who has to be convinced beyond a reasonable doubt that the person involved has committed a crime. There is a reason why a person undergoing a criminal trial is identified as an ‘accused’, and not a ‘convict’ because that person is deemed to be innocent until proven guilty by a court of law. A person will be deemed as a ‘convict’ only when the State / police proves that a person has committed the said crime and a court of law determines the same.

March 18, 2025 at 9:57 amIdeally, it should not be. However, never ever trust cops when it comes to anything connected to marijuana / other soft drugs. They are brainless idiots who will try to make a case against people who consume any form of edibles. Before the court, cops will try and make out a case that buds were used to make the bhang golis, and therefore the bhang goli seized from you is illegal.

January 17, 2025 at 11:02 amAgreed with u/nimbutimbu. However, let’s say that you have not consented to the appointment of a sole arbitrator, which in all likelihood would have been appointed unilaterally by the company, you can dispute the authority of the arbitration tribunal. The company cannot unilaterally (on its own) appoint a sole arbitrator without your consent. That’s the law. -
