May 7, 2026 at 6:05 pmNALI can get you because i come from a similar situation and he is right, you can’t legally do anything.. even the evidence you have may get thrown away by judge who will later use that as mental cruelty against her .
Also if she files DV and dowry cases, then you would be spending another 5 years to quash them all while paying interim maintenance.
Your only option is to take your lawyer to her and her parents, tell if you file , it will be bad name to their family, so you are settling for Mutual consent divorce and pay a one time settlement and not tell others the reasons why . Get divorce in 1.5 years and move on .
My wife too did that and she is not allowing me to see my kids as punishment and unfortunately i can’t do anything legally.
If you are looking for legal punishment you are in wrong country, if you are looking for karma to punish her ,you are in wrong planet

May 7, 2026 at 8:55 amNAL – Have a discussion and ask for mutual consent divorce. Give a decent one time settlement and move on .Don’t work on ego because the law is lopsided and once it goes to court , it will take 5 years and multiple hearings which are financially and mentally draining
Also check if marital counseling can help . But go for reputed ones even if they are costly because a lot of them in our country are bad and might end up making it worse

February 4, 2025 at 5:46 amBecause the term rape is too vague to have a blanket punishment.. also in many cases , there is no physical evidence and it’s all circumstantial.. plus many fake cases..Even in gang rape , not everytime they get death penalty but only in rarest of rare cases
