Its not like online in microsecond.
3-4 Years is the time frame for a clear case. Complex cases takes 10-15-20 years. from lower court to higher courts up to supereme Court.CYes you have the chances to get your money back. But not as easy a clicking in online gamings.
You have to go through 10-30 Physicall appearance in civil courts, and have to pay for at least two good lawyers ( Don’t take a single lawyer – its my personal advice).
You may get your money in around 3-4 years.Cyes. But he keeps quite from last 10 dates else Ji Janab.
I tries to repeat my view, I am intrupted saying the court is not interested in filmy story. They are including Honorable J— ( Seems to me)only trying to force me to repay or go to jail. They have nothing to think about any citizen and seems laws are made only in favour of the Mighty lenders.
Since selling Body organs like kidney is not legal, I have to go to jail for no Crime?If law can’t protect me , In that scenario I would prefer what millions of Persons in India do under Loan stress.

The lady who took the money is not capable, otherwise no one do such type of activity to known person.
Earlier at your grandfather’s time people used to help relatives and neighbours in need .Yes you can take your money back if she is willfull by several means- Social pressure, Threatening, Police complaint, and Finally File a civil suit in coury.
Tou have not mentioned for what purpose she borrowed, If she borrowed for some medical emergency,, Education of her childeren then she ihad borrowed with good intentions, but become incapable.
