Is your old employer very small, or are you a very senior employee (like someone who reports directly to CEO, head of country, etc.

If not, most companies won’t want to invest resources in a legal battle against you.

Man, PUC is cheap, but at least in my state, it is not digitised. I have to carry it physically everywhere, unlike other documents which sre available in digilocker.

I am pretty sure there are private roads which collect tolls, NICE road in Bangalore is one such example. So it’s not completely illegal for private entities to collect toll, will have to check relevant laws to find what makes it legal or illegal.
