        Yes ๐Ÿ‘

But if you have received this money after April 1st 2025, then you need to file your ITR only between April 2026 to July 2026.

If you have received this money between 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025 (Previous Financial Year, abbreviated as FY 2024-25) , then you have to file taxes this year before July 31st (2025).

Also do discuss with a CA in your city and file taxes with them.

This is Stake, the same as the online casino gambling?

If yes, then you can deposit this amount into your account, but you have to pay tax for this amount the next time you file ITR. Tax amount might be between 30-35%, as it is considered income from other sources such as gambling, lottery, etc.

Your tax liability will always be on the system and you might get a notice after 2-10 years down the line, if you don’t pay/declare.

No, your bank account will not freeze. The amount is too small of an amount, especially when IT people are looking into people transacting in crores.

Also, IT people usually send a notice to your email/address first. They freeze assets when you are hiding from them.

                1. The pen is mightier than the sword. A pen can do wonders in causing injuries, even pencils for that matter the trick is how to hold the instrument.
                2. The wheel nut remover which is used to change car tyres. It’s quite solid, I had once taken it out for my own protection when a fight was incoming. I didn’t have to use it, but it’s quite heavy and can do some serious damage.
                3. Belt. Leather belts can cause some serious damage.
                4. Chains.
                5. Compass, which is used to draw circles
                6. A lighter with a air freshener/cheap deo. Becomes a flamethrower.
                7. A bike gear or sprocket, can be used as metal knuckle, but I feel a belt or chain works better
                8. A bathing towel. Especially when wet can cause serious damage
                9. Pepper spray
                10. Piece of wire, especially a UG cable which might be 10sq mm or more. A small 1 meter length will be enough to whip people.

Factually speaking, in an emergency you might not have time to get and use this, as you would be on flight or fight mode
                My recommendations:
                1. Throw sand into the eyes, followed by a finisher
                2. Slap both ears simultaneously.
                3. Using your thumb as a weapon, thrust into the throat.
                4. Kick to the knee, dislocate the knee joint.
                5. Kick to the ankle joint, would require more force to dislocate.
                6. Kick to the groin.
                7. While a kick to the back? Anywhere above the glutes.

While a bit of caution is good, always remember it is better to avoid the fight altogether. A little bit of monetary loss/property loss can be written on the books, but you can make back that money later, especially since your just 22 years; don’t throw your whole life away with one bad move.

When we are younger we think we can take on the world by ourselves, as we get older, we realise that life is more like a game of chess, using calculated moves to beat your opponent.

Also, God and Karma are watching. The universe always gives back what is lost and vice versa.

It’s simply sad that police are not registering an FIR for you.

You would have to register an FIR, some police stations require you to make a Notarized Affidavit of the incident and then submit that to them for the FIR.

Even in the consumer court, the first thing they would enquire about is whether you filed an FIR.

Try pushing the head constable for the FIR, you might have to sponsor his afternoon lunch and evening snacks to get it done (I know it’s not ideal, but it’s our need). [Don’t sponsor his dinner and next day breakfast too, if you understand]

                    All the best ๐Ÿ‘

                      Is the state Tamil Nadu?

In Tamil Nadu during the sale of any property, they attach a photo taken at the property with the seller.

Yes I agree with the above poster, better to first get Encumbrance certificate for your land, that is by entering all the survey numbers for which you have the deed for.

In Tamil Nadu, the government has made the service free of cost if you go to download the same on your mobile/computer.

Also, which district are you in? If you don’t mind us asking.

Well, I guess your a Male student who has grown his hair till shoulder or beyond with a thick beard.

When I was in college, if we attended the exam (practicals) without a neat haircut and clean shave butter smooth face without moustache it was an automatic fail for us. This along with neatly ironed formal clothes and the formal shoes.

While your professor legally cannot do anything, do you really want to bruise his ego and lose your time by failing a subject? While I understand the amount of maintenance, time and energy you have invested in your hair, you really have to pick your battles wisely

                            Oh, my bad.
Thank you. I was not aware it was decriminalized in 2018.

Anyways, Adultery can be used as grounds for divorce though.

This entire episode could have been avoided if the guy and the girl did the right thing post breakup, not talk to each other.

Anyways, what’s done is done. Ideally he needs to take a paternity test (whenever feasible) to prove that he is the father (at least for his mental peace). From there on, if it’s negative, it’s not his kid and it’s the husbands. If your friend is smart, he will stop talking to the girl and remove himself from her life.
If it’s positive, it’s going to be a messy situation one day or another. How long will your friend stay under the threats from the girl? What if your friend gets married?

Coming to the current legality, The child’s father and mother are the people written on his birth certificate.

Also, regarding going behind bars, both your friend and the girl will be behind bars, as they have committed Adultery.

                                Okay ๐Ÿ‘

I am not 100% sure regarding policies in Uttar Pradesh.
As a rule of thumb, you would have to get an Encumbrance Certificate, check whether any loans are pending on the land. You also have to check and have copies of the past sale deeds, some states require up to 15 years (means if the land has changed owners 3 times over 15 years you have to have a copy of all the sale deeds/registered will), you also have to check whether all taxes are paid up to date, and if any building is present on the property, then the corporation/municipality/panchayat tax of that, the Electricity Board bills, etc.

What I would recommend is using a property lawyer. They will do the needful and check everything and let you know whether any issues are present with the property.

Could you share your state please?

The process varies from state to state.
