      Luckily my NRI landlord got convinced as his CA was in agreement that this is a valid requirement.

      In your case, I think you should look for a new place. IT department sending you notice later will be harder to handle than finding a new apartment with a better landlord. Unfortunately, these kind of compliance issues being put on tenant by govt is unfair and it makes it harder for tenants to even find apartments where landlords agree to this TDS ๐Ÿ˜•

        In that case, reasonable chance of getting higher than the 500 they are offering. All up to your convincing power and negotiation, I would suggest 70:30 split of the outdoor unit to AC pipe. So try to get at least 3k for the pipes

          I feel you bro. Ac pipes are costly. Was there separate valuation for the pipe? If not, I guess you would have to work your charm / bully to try to extract as much as you can

            If you bought their transit insurance, you must have filled value against each item being transported. Apml is liable to only pay you what you put as the value for the AC pipe in their insurance item sheet. Can’t do much more about it , I think
