DAssuming it is not a scam, find the genuine address of the Cyber police station from Police department website ( not from Google) and directly to there, NEVER go to any other random address they give you. Verify their random address on Google maps and see if it is genuine or fishy. If it is Fishy, don’t even go there. If genuine, go with atleast two or three elders, Lawyer also if possible.DI don’t know about Paralegal but there are other non-professinal jobs, plenty of them infact, please read some of my recent posts elsewhere, you can see it on my profile…DI don’t know about law but I have seen live situations in my circle….Police and legal etc. should be last option. Mediation is best option at first….try a trusted NGO who handles this type of cases or a mutually respected family elder for Mediation….Also, protect your assets like house, savings , mutual funds etc as those might be targeted.
Talk to an experienced financial consultant and a lawyer about how to protect your assets just in case things don’t go well in the future….sometimes, time will heal, give it a few months and don’t appear desperate to her….

They have stolen something much more valuable and sacred which is your trust and relationship….you ought to be concerned more about that but it seems pointless now anyways that the damage has been done…very sad…
you can always get legal duplicates of any documents and it is a bit of a hassle but can be done with help of a lawyer and filing a FIR…..also put a block on your bank accounts so that they do not misuse them….
If you are open to it, sell off the house to some powerful person as he can handle evicting them from the house and you will get your money….
Dtry all legal avenues and of all else is lost and hopeless, instead of killing yourself just leave town and go live with some relatives or join in a hostel etc and keep it secret from friends except your parents….DIgnore the self righteous fools here who are abusing you in the comments. No one is perfect, everyone has flaws …Your friend has made a mistake but he didn’t commit any real crime. He deserves legal help like anyone else.Get a really good lawyer who is not judgemental like these people and who can help him…there is no other way…in.this corrupt Indian society even murderers go scot free when they have right lawyers….
