If you purchased with a credit card, raise a chargeback, submit all documentation of your request, Apple’s confirmation of a defective product & the series of false assurances.

If purchased by another means, hire a lawyer

Have you tried visiting the store? A face to face is more effective when calls / chat fails

In case the above doesn’t work, then since no paperwork is involved, refuse to return the AC till your rent is refunded in full.

Most health insurers won’t cover OCD or any mental issues / disorders even as a part of corporate health policies

I assume you are looking for cover for physical health disorders, in that case it is still better to disclose. Insurers are notorious for not paying even genuine claims, so don’t give them a chance to deny your claim when you most need it.

Count your blessings & move on ASAP. Keep screenshots of your reaching out to her where she asked you to leave her alone. This will help you prove that the breakup was from her end. She won’t be able to claim that you left her.

Leaving these items is an excellent deal, she is a woman in India, she can sue you and your family to hell! Some samples:
            1) Rape on pretext of marriage
            2) Harassment & stalking
            3) Violence & Threatening behaviour

None of them have to be true to make your life a living hell

However make sure that you never travel / transit through GCC countries in the future as depending on the amount (if greater than KD 1000 usually but lower too depending on the bank, some go as low as even KD 100) there will be a lookout notice for you.

They can do nothing to you in India. You can ignore them

The best option for you would be to shift to a more pet friendly space. For all the animal welfare /counter complain worriers here…consider the following:

You are a bachelor living in an apartment block filled with families, if they decide to gang up on you, do you think you can handle the flurry of fake molestation cases against their women and fake POSCO cases against the kids? Recall that this country when a woman accuses you will be put in jail first and investigation would be launched later on.

Is it fair? No, but when did you expect anything in this country to be fair & legal?

If you would have purchased your tickets through a credit card, it is very likely that it has inbuilt travel insurance. Call up the credit card bank / visit website and get the travel insurance helpline to call.

In addition, check in with the Indian embassy there, they would help you.

If paid by credit card, do a charge back citing all the correspondence/ screenshot…works much faster & effectively

The best way would be to initiate a charge back with your credit card, attaching the screenshots and communication. Be clear that the product is not in new condition due to faulty installation…to prove it is damaged will be difficult as the AC is working

One of the potential solutions would be to ask Blue Star / Vijay Sales to commit to cover accidental damage to the product for the period of warranty. That would take care of the concerns of both parties.

There are Always two sides to a coin. With the justice system incredibly corrupt, criminals getting bail like toffees, every criminal has a future mindset of judges, heinous criminals getting paroles…the police unfortunately have very few options to maintain law & order, when the same public demands accountability

Does that justify torture? No. But when the entire system is against you, criminals protected by politicians and judges, if 80-90% of the population can walk on streets, we need to be grateful to the police.

The Delhi Nirbhaya case took 8 years under immense public / media pressure, imagine what happens to lesser known cases. Sometimes the police are left with such options to maintain law & order.

The trick is always in thinking about dual usage: reasons in parentheses given to explain why you are possessing them

                          1) Heavy long handle hammers, Shovels, Heavy iron rods, pipes (construction)
                          2) Meat cleavers (cooking / cutting)
                          3) Heavy bats / Hockey sticks ( games )
                          4) Axe ( cut wood / fire safety)

As a rule, stay away from fights as long as you can. Never start a fight which risks your life / limb. Only use force in extreme life threatening circumstances and under duress. No shame in walking away even after verbal public humiliation as it is better than years of walking through police / courts / possible imprisonment

The simplest and most effective way, provided you had paid with a credit card is to initiate a chargeback with your bank submitting the entire communication trail, Samsung’s acceptance of defective product and agreeing to a refund.

If not paid with a credit card then unfortunately you will have to approach the consumer court.

Irrespective of whatever the biker does, get your parents to file a FIR immediately, citing the drunk state, hit from behind.

Do remember to ask for damage to the spine due to the whip lash effect that happened as the car got hit from behind. Claim severe pain in the neck and back.

Your parents may be model citizens but don’t depend on the other side following laws or accepting their mistakes. Nothing prevents him from filing a fake FIR and claiming damages from your senior citizen parents. On the other hand, When nothing happens for a year, you can always decide to not pursue the case.

Stay safe but protect your parents legally. The police are just giving BS that it is the bigger vehicle’s fault. In 99% of the cases it is always the fault of the vehicle hitting from behind.

Star Health is notorious for denying claims even after initial pre-approval.

If you purchased the plan through a broker /agent, then check with them.

If it is part of a corporate medical plan, then check with your HR department, they might be able to help

If purchased directly then check with “insurance samadhan” guys they might be able to help you on a success fee basis
