May 8, 2025 at 4:24 pmBrother, I am looking at it purely from a rational and legalistic point of view. Look at SC judgements on what constitutes abetment. It’s not that someone say s I’m dying because of this person and you start running after that person now.
If I look at from a third person perspective, what would be more scary and concerning for me is that my life can become forfeit just because somebody else thinks that they cannot handle their own life and have decided to blame me for their decision to end it. Think of it when you next have an argument with your wife and how soon things can go out of control without you necessarily having committed any crime.EExpertguru5921

Suicide is never the only option. There are so many things that she could have done. Filed for divorce, filed harassment suit etc. Sorry, but her death was her decision and noone should be forced to bear the consequences of a decision someone else made about their own life and problems.
Now, the biggest problem in this case would be the dying declaration. Your uncle would have to prove to the court that – a) there was no harassment b) she was already suicidal or had mental health issues c) that she was not happy for other reasons. Hire a good lawyer, one who is good at technical stuff.EExpertguru5921

April 22, 2025 at 5:08 pmWhat is your friend looking to do? Punish someone for being an asshole maybe? And what does lovebombing into a physical relationship means. I swear new phrases get added everyday. Basically what I understood is he said all the right things did all the right things to get into her pants and then decided to ghost her. There is no crime here just shittiness and stupidity. Your friend is an adult and made a conscious choice to get into a relationship. There are no guarantees in the world and a person should try to live with that uncertainty and move forward rather than finding people to pin the blame on everytime things don’t go in your favour. If you reverse the scenario and a woman decides to ghost a man after a fling would we even be having a discussion.April 10, 2025 at 6:11 am in reply to: Her family falsely accused me and threatened police action. April 10, 2025 at 6:11 am1. End it respectfully.
2. Block and never look back.
3. Collect and save all correspondences pointing to the consensual and casual nature of the relationship or the fact it was her and not you who proposed/is proposing a relationship of a more serious nature or is re-establishing contact.
4. Move on and live your life. Let them come at you (very slim chance). To put your mind at ease, yes it is very easy to institute a complaint of rape on false pretext of marriage but it’s very difficult to sustain the same if the police/courts go by the threshold set by HCs and SC. They would need to prove that 1) you made a promise of marriage 2) the promise was made with malafide intention of never being kept and 3) the other person was in this thing solely on the basis of that promise. The threshold becomes even greater depending upon the edge, educational qualification and duration of the woman.
