April 4, 2025 at 1:32 pmTrue and agree to most of it. Most of these “consultants” are clueless call center type employees but they say they are lawyers. Most of them can’t communicate in proper English.EExpertknight6552

March 21, 2025 at 10:43 amYes thats probably the case but if the opponent party want to purse further, then they will call you again. If not responding then they will be forced to file an FIR. Not a bad idea to wait for another call and pray that it never comes πEExpertknight6552

March 21, 2025 at 10:37 amDepends on the police and the opponent party. If the other guy forces police to file FIR because you don’t show up, then more trouble. If you show up, police will try to solve the issue at station between both parties without further trouble.EExpertknight6552

March 21, 2025 at 10:26 amI believe nothing much will happen if you or your friend go to the station. They will give you and your parents a good solid class on how to behave and not to repeat such offences in future. Probably a letter from the guy stating that he wont repeat such pranks again. Until you show up and not abscond, they don’t file an FIR and just a do with warning. Better go, accept the mistake and face the music.EExpertknight6552

March 21, 2025 at 10:16 amI suggest you try to meet the said gst officials (like an inspector or superintendent) and explain your situation to them instead of involving lawyers. From what i hear from some one i know, if your gst falls in state purview(sgst) and not central gst, you can talk to the officers and find a compromise based on your condition(they can use their discretion) while its hard with central gst authorities. Its better to approach the officers directly and pay what they expect instead of paying for lawyers and going the legal route. -
