I guess the OP was saying that Amazon was asking for the “courier receipt”. They might need that as proof of shipping.

I still doubt it, maybe because I’m a cynical person BUT the main reason I’m convinced that he’s a fraud is that he took money in his own bank account, WHO DOES THAT! I doubt he even paid it to anyone else, just kept skimming your brother till the last moment.

          NAL.

Sanjay (not his real name) played a long con, invested a lot of his time and efforts to ultimately win over your brother’s trust but he never had good intentions.

The day your family deposited money in Sanjay’s account, they got what they wanted and stopped caring. This clearly shows that Sanjay is a part of the scammer gang and now it’s impossible for you guys to get back any money. I doubt there ever was a consultancy, maybe he showed a fake office by renting a place to convince your brother.

Maybe contact lawyers but make sure you don’t spend lakhs of rupees on lawyers and courts because again as I said, the probability of recovery is next to zero.

Hehe, can literally feel the frustration by your typing. Change your doctor and goto a psychologist too, sirf goli pelne mental health theek nahi hoti!

Regarding your solution, just call or video call that doctor in front of the medical shop guy to convince them. Can’t think of any other way around it.

I have read the complete post along with the edits.

              My 2 cents:
I guess the prescription looks fake to the medical shops, maybe the doctor just wrote a single medicine and nothing else. Usually, the doctor mentions the name & age, symptoms, diagnosis and a few medicines along with some lifestyle changes.

If the prescription only contains a single name of medicine then it looks fake or forged to an experienced eye.

And Clonezapam is NOT A SOS medicine, it’s an SSRI medicine which needs to be taken daily under a psychiatrist’s care.

If you are taking anti depression medicines since 2011 then the ship has sailed for your mental health!

Only a good doctor will tell you this: Anti depression medicines are equivalent to crutches for walking. Just like you use a crutch to assist your legs to make them stronger and gradually STOP depending on it, similarly, while taking anti depression medicines, you take active steps to improve your mental health and gradually move away from all such medicines.

But since you are taking it for more then a decade, you have not made changes to your life to be able to stop depending on these medicines and now you can’t function without them which will be detrimental for your own mental health in the coming future.

I’m trying to explain to you that nobody is supposed to have a common wall as per construction plans. Suppose you own 50×50 feet land, then you are supposed to construct a building within that 50×50 feet area with its own independent walls which doesn’t bear any load on any adjacent structures!
Hence, one of you is in the wrong.

Check the sanctioned plans for both houses. If it’s a common wall between your houses then it means either one of you didn’t construct their own independent wall to save space. That person is at fault and needs to take care of this situation.

If both of your houses had separate walls which are adjacent to each other then there’s no risk to either one by demolishing the other one.

                    NAL.

I’m a male and during our marriage, my in-laws were insisting on spending lakhs on furniture, ornaments etc. to give me in our marriage BUT I strictly declined and had an open discussion with them and my wife that there’s no need to spend such exorbitant money as I don’t want it. He still ended up giving a few furnitures and clothes as per the rituals but I wasn’t happy about it.

A marriage should be based on understanding and love, not money! The bride’s family is already losing so much that their piece of heart is going away to another family, why add financial damages on top of that.

Obviously, any type of pressurisation from the groom’s family is a DOWRY and not acceptable, irrespective of rituals or customs.

GET THE RC CANCELLED ASAP! Even if you have to bribe the RTO officials and agent, do it, trust me the alternative is too scary!

My neighbour sold his car to some garage and the car got stolen from there and later it was SEIZED CARRYING DRUGS.

The police kept him in JAIL FOR 2 MONTHS because he was the owner as per the RC!

I’m never gonna sell a vehicle without transferring the RC first.

You seem to be under the influence of social media gyaani babas who spit out random BS in the name of facts.

It is not double taxation: Double taxation means taxing the SAME SOURCE again and again.

Income tax on your salary is a Direct tax which is paid to the government directly.

But GST & customs are INDIRECT TAXES imposed on the manufacturers but ultimately borne by the end consumer.

The rate of GST is decided carefully so that it’s very low for NECESSARY ITEMS LIKE FOOD & MEDICINES. If you don’t spend a lot you won’t have to pay a lot of GST. Typically, only non-essential items have a high GST tax rate.

GST is not something new, it’s not as if there was no indirect taxes before GST. In fact, the older system of VAT, Sales Tax, Excise etc. had a double taxation system which means we used to pay much higher tax for the same item compared to GST.

And why does the government need so much tax???

Because India is a nation of THIEVES who lie and manipulate to avoid paying taxes. The percentage of people paying direct taxes in India is below 5%. Most business owners falsify their financial statements to avoid paying taxes. The government ALL OVER THE WORLD has no other option but to take direct and indirect taxes.

Also. custom duty protects the Indian manufacturing industry. Tell me, if Your friend or parents worked in an Indian electronics company and suddenly the entire Indian electronics industry died thanks to the removal of custom duties, how would you feel? They won’t be able to work anywhere else at the same salary grade because their experience would be useless in other industries and they would have to start working as a fresher again!

Sorry for your loss. I keep phones and wallet in my front jeans pockets purposefully and tie a t shirt like a belt around the pocket to secure them.

Yes, I give up the comfort by wearing jeans while sleeping in trains just so that I can prevent theft of expensive property.

BTW forget about it, the cops have the capability to track the phone’s location with its IMEI number but they won’t bother about it because they won’t get any benefits out of it. So nobody will help you in this matter.

                            Chill out bro!
I’m an old Amazon customer with over 10 years of shopping history. I have obviously had refund issues with a few orders but the customer support does end up successfully refunding my money without me raising my BP. I just wait patiently for a few days and the amount is refunded back to my credit card.

I would urge you to stop stressing about it and wait it out. Also, try to talk respectfully and logically with the customer support, it’s not their fault directly that there are glitches in their system. I always talk in a cool and calm manner respectfully and maybe it helped me somehow!

These apps ask for location access the first time itself and don’t proceed further without getting all permissions.

They obviously have recorded all locations where he has ever set foot. He should definitely pay it back.

Thanks boss! NCLT has written on the order that the valuer may take a nominal fees (1/4th of the original fees) for the re valuation engagement. But my senior replied to the aggrieved party that we will charge the full fees which we charged before.

But can’t we deny the engagement at all? Will NCLT take any action against us for denying it?

Don’t raise your blood pressure for such a petty issue. CCTV microphones are NOT THAT SENSITIVE, it will barely record any noise from your flat IF YOU KEEP doors & windows closed.

                                  Another idea:

                                  1. Download SCREECHING NOISE online (a long clip 10 minutes or higher) and store on a cheap Micro SD card.

                                  2. Buy a bluetooth speaker, cheap chinese ones with sd card slots. Keep it connected to a charger 24×7 and place it in your balcony inches away from their CCTV camera.

                                  3. Blast the noise at medium volume 24×7 near the speaker and your privacy will be restored. The mic will pick up the high frequency screeching noise and won’t be able to record other sound frequencies from your home.
