Later they brought out a rule that you had to inform the Indian embassy and get some certificate of renunciation but things weren’t that strict then. India really needs to allow dual citizenship like most of the world does. Even Pakistan and Sri Lanka allow it.ENonsense. A person can have have multiple partners before marriage. That has nothing to do with cheating after marriage. Plenty of people cheat even after their spouse being their first partner.EPromiscuous doesn’t matter at all. Criminal to some extent but not if it is over and done with. Like, let’s say, I learn that my wife had stolen something a few years back. That wouldn’t matter. If she had killed a few people, that would be different.
