They can seek protection from RDO/ Collector under this act, the son be restrained from entering into their home if he is abusive and violent. They can write a will with regard to their properties if they are Hindus/Christians and about 1/3rd of their property if they are Muslims… if they want they can transfer their property to their other son even when alive…HHappyfalcon5271

April 28, 2025 at 1:17 amYes normally u need 1.5 years total. 1 year separation and 6 months cooling off period. 1 year is compulsory but the 6 months can be waived. Use a lawyer to speed up the process.
