I see you made the same post 4 months ago and you got some sound advices back then. What’s stopping you from doing what’s needed?

        What is your job role?

Regardless, why are you at such a company for 10+ years? Please leave.

Take the conversation up with the HR, cite your performance conversations, appraisal notes and ask why has the salary been reduced.

Parallelly, start interviewing for a new job elsewhere.

File a counter suit for harassment and more importantly, medical negligence. Take the other two doctor’s observations in writing and F these guys up.

About the “defamation suit”, always remember, truth is an absolute defence against defamation.

Yeah exactly. But I’d assume if the police were in the rare mood of doing their jobs and sun has risen in the west, they’d be willing to file a fraud complaint.

He checked the laptop and purchased it. Sucks to say this as I have purchased a lot of stuff from OLX but it’s a buyer’s loss now.

Let him file a complaint, as if police would even entertain such a silly complaint. If possible , extract CCTV footage from your society to track the timestamp of when he came and when he left – proving he had ample time to do the necessary checks.

He has no legal standpoint. It’s just a regretful loss at his end.

                  Name and shame!

Start attending campus placements for better companies!

I won’t advise you to not join any company under the present market conditions, so find a way to chicken out of the bond somehow or find a better company! Start ups aren’t a good idea rn anyway.

The bond cannot be valid unless they mention it’s for some kind of a training.

You don’t need a laptop in the early years of engineering.

For the smaller assignments in those years, ask help from friends.

This post made me never want to have kids. Do better, brat.

I’ve got to hand it to you, the girl here really is immature and young.

Just in case OP reads this –

You’re not wrong in identifying the toxic traits of your family. When we say you’re acting immature is because we’ve gone through your age. You might think that we’ve forgiven our parents or that we’ve learnt to ignore the bullshit they put us through, but no. With time we’ve come to look at and understand the full picture.

You’re too young to see that right now. With emancipation you’ll never see it and deprive yourself of a healthy relationship with your parents and scar yourself permanently. And nobody’s tone here is bad. If you perceive your parent’s words with even half the scrutiny as you’re perceiving ours, it’s no wonder you have so much pent up frustration inside you.

Find a way to involve a learned relative to advise your parents for your career aspirations. They’ll come around.
Even if they don’t, the way you approach the situation in the long run (make an actual effort to convince your parents all the while being receptive to the possibility that they could know better than you) – you just might crack it and get your way.

And last of all – relax. You seem too angry. Communicate with your parents. They’re not perfect. They’re not gods, they’re not gifts (we agree here lol), they’re just human beings, messed up at times, wrong at times, but never devoid of care and genuine desire to see ONLY good happen in your life.

Tip for next time – Only lend that much amount to known connects as much as you’re willing to forego.

You need to pack your stuff properly obviously. If courier was such a joke, Amazon wouldn’t deliver electronics so well.

Use DTDC or BlueDart for additional safety of expensive items but even then, pack your stuff well enough so it doesn’t move around when the package is handled roughly.
