February 1, 2025 at 9:01 amLawyer here. First understand that the words “use” and “consumption” have different meaning in NDPS act. Section 27 of ndps act governs consumption. Only *UPTO* 6 months jail and fine is levied that too governed by the procedure mentioned in crpc and not ndps act.
