February 3, 2025 at 5:56 amFiling a FIR will not help at all. The OP comes underthe definition of consumer. The only way to recover money is to file a consumer case against the seller and Amazon.LLavanyapanda662

This is a clear case of deficiency of service.
You need to file a complaint u/s 35 of CP act.
Nothing else will work.LLavanyapanda662

February 1, 2025 at 6:45 pmI was dining at a café in Meerut, UP, when I was charged an additional ₹25 as container charges. Upon enquiring with the café owner, he gave excuses about rising raw material costs and other irrelevant reasons. The next day, I sent a legal notice demanding a refund of ₹25 along with ₹24,000 for mental harassment and ₹21,000 for the cost of the legal notice. After receiving no response from the café owner, I filed a consumer complaint in the Consumer Court in Delhi (as I work for gain in Delhi) under Section 35 of the Consumer Protection Act for deficiency of service and unfair trade practices.
As a result, the café owner had to travel from Meerut to Delhi for every hearing. After fighting the case for around six months, the court ruled in my favor and awarded a total amount of ₹45,000.LLavanyapanda662

February 1, 2025 at 9:58 amThere is no relation between consumption and possession.
A person can be tried under section 20 for possession even if that person never had marijuana. -
