They have so much land because all the land of mosques comes under their control. Also if some muslim doesn’t have any airs, they decide to donate the land to waqf. The law has many details and its so black and white like media propaganda makes it sound. Obviously some power is required to protect the property of minority community in this majority hindu country, but its not so direct. They cant just take any land.

Assuming that you have 3 months rent as deposit, its fair to let him stay 1 more month then vacate it. Maybe wherever he is saying about difficulty in finding another house is true.
