Lock in period varies from policy to policy you need to read the booklet to check but ya you are not getting money before that

Whenever you buy a policy you get 30 days free look period in which you can cancel the policy and get 100% refund. You should have just done that

The agent scammed you . It’s a really common scam they have to complete their monthly quota so they lie through their teeth.

It’s probably a ulip with a lock in period of 5 years so either you can continue your policy by paying or don’t pay you will receive your money after lock in period ends though read the policy

Personal opinion stop the policy. It’s pure trash
