Not to discourage you.as a common man I’m saying this. If I didn’t have a good legal backup frd. I won’t enter this kind of legal battles.. Just forgot.. Who is right or wrong.. Because of this you lost ur peace and money.. My pov peace is important.. Try to get settlement from other side including damages and legal fees..if they are not settling as u said the mistake is with other party side fight till end…All the best.

Insurance companies typically don’t require an FIR unless it’s a major accident. Based on your description, it doesn’t seem like a major damage. Just proceed with the claim—you shouldn’t face any issues

If he has zero-depreciation (zero-dep) coverage, he only needs to pay ₹1,000 for a claim. The same applies to comprehensive insurance—since it’s minor scratches, denting, and painting are fully covered under the comprehensive policy.

I’m not sure why an FIR is required unless it’s a major accident.

I dono how long you have been together, in general it will take 2 to 3 yrs to know about each other. Give time, don’t stress it out.

Just install a visible camera and put up a sign saying, ‘Smile, you’re on camera!’ That should stop them. If the problem continues, then someone from ur side is supporting them.
