Nothing happens with knowing IP. Even LEAs have to do extra work to track the further details. Just chill

people can be questioned given that there is a reasonable doubt exist. And whatever the police do, in courts that will not stand. So they can only enquire because no one knows whether a certain person is involved or innocent
