That’s an American thing related to American federal wiretapping law which required consent to record audio. That is not applicable as am pretty sure your school is in India

        1. It is not illegal and every app/website/service you use tracks your IP

        2. There is nothing to report

Unless you pay extra for a static ip, your IP will keep changing and unless you have installed some random malware disguised as an app, you are safe.
The IP address at best could give you the general location. But my guess is he used a simple location api in the website to get your coordinates and even that is not precise. Nothing to worry here

That being said, the behaviour is very creepy so steer clear of the said person

You cannot travel with an adverse remark on your passport.

            Get it sorted asap

Ask the police officer to refer to [passport FAQ question 16](https://passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/faqApplicationForm) on the passport india government site

It’s not really a problem to have a long name. I have a friend with 2 given names and 3 surnames. He has traveled with me to 15 odd countries and we never had any issues. I myself have 2 given names and my father’s name in the surname and never had any issue

By definition of right to free speech, criticism of the law and the functioning of the government is protected under Article 19(1)(a).

Then again in this country, you can be in legal trouble for anything.

Can’t you track your phone using find my devices?

It works even when switched off and is quite accurate

It’s easily possible to record voice and save sms. There was a DoT project 15years ago and has already been implemented by all telcos. Only caveat is the number to be snooped on must be shared by a competent authority to the telco before hand and the voice data is forked to the destination as well as a remote server. This is as simple as a single command. If the tap is not in place then the only info available is the CDR and the meta data
