May 10, 2026 at 4:00 amLawyer here. The recent trend among High Courts and the Supreme Court has been to quash such cases where young people, particularly in this age, have been in romantic relationships, and the boy faces POCSO because of the disgruntled family of the girl and particularly if the girl insists that everything was consensual and with her free will.
If everything you say is true, you have to prove it in court, where the girl’s statement will be the most important evidence.
Find an advocate and apply to the High Court for bail as well as quashing.

April 26, 2025 at 9:48 amUnfortunately, that’s not what Indian laws are.To evict you need to have a valid and good reason.
If the tenant is not at any fault and paying his rent duly, his rights are protected.
Unless the landlord has a very good reason to evict without the tenant’s fault.

March 29, 2025 at 9:55 amAccording to the Rajnesh vs Neha judgment by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, in maintenance proceedings, both the Husband and the Wife are required to submit an affidavit in the court disclosing all of their income sources. If she hasn’t done that already or you say that she is lying, contact her employer.
If they are not willing to help, pray the court to summon the documents from the employer.

March 21, 2025 at 8:49 amCame here to say the ship story said by another user only. What the lawyer told you comes from his years of practice and experience.
And that’s why we consult the lawyers in the first place.
The better and more experienced person you approach in any field, the more you have to pay.
And doctors charge less because the number of patients is more and the doctors won’t have to go into details of all of your problems in the first instance. He just hears 4 to 5 symptoms and tells you the probable cause of your illness while in consultation and he probably would have already seen multiple patients with the same symptoms and have given the same advice to all.
A lawyer has to go into the case in more detail and apply his mind more deeply to your unique set of problems.
If you want free advice, you can visit free legal aid clinics too.
But why does one go to a private hospital and not a government hospital, we all know ๐คซ

February 22, 2025 at 8:52 amYes, for a marriage to be valid, essential requirements need to be fulfilled.Such as certain religious ceremonies among Hindus as Saptapadi and Pani Grahan to be performed. Among Muslims, proposal and acceptance should be there.
If these are performed properly, then marriage is valid irrespective of any agreement. There are other requirements too.

February 22, 2025 at 7:23 amLawyer here.No such contract marriages are not legal in India.
What you are saying is similar to Muta marriages in the Muslim community. But such Muta marriages are also not common among Muslims in India too.
Besides you can not make an agreement that the wife will not claim maintenance before marriage as it will be against Indian law.
However, one can make an agreement that the wife will take a certain amount of maintenance or the wife forfeits her right of maintenance at the time of divorce.
