Most of the cases get disposed initially because they do compromises at their level. ( its my experience only)
I can say just save the property first as he cant directly demand it and if he harasses her again then you can take help from the police or something

MTotally depends on what she wants ! There are laws which can help her but she would need to take some hard decisions, as u said she is not so much mentally strong so it can be tough !MU can take file an FIR along with all the proofs and then you can file a case for STAY in the court. It won’t guarantee the ownership but she might get some time
