MYes, you have freedom to criticise the law. But very often, governments across party lines slap sedition charges if you speak against them. They are finally thrown out by the court, but still you face the process that’s a punishment in itself.MBackground of the law is that a person was smoking in a train in Kerala in front of a pregnant lady. The pregnant lady filed a writ petition, which led to the first ban on public smoking.MIdeally they are not supposed to, but nobody cares. 3. Random fights like this can escalate. If someone files a case on you for attempt to murder, you’ll require a lot of time, patience and resources to clear your name.
So, much better to avoid people.
MRight now, what you need is marriage counselling. First try to go for that. If that fails, you have an option for divorce under Muslim law in India or the country of your residence may also be suitable.
