May 7, 2026 at 5:42 amFor starters, do a trademark search. Look for the class in which you want to register and if anyone else has registered it.You’ll need an Agent to file the application. Better go to some reputed law firm.

May 8, 2025 at 9:05 amYou don’t need a First class magistrate certificate for this. You just need a notarised certificate. Go to any notary public, they will have the format and you’ll have to give your affidavit on a 10 or 100 rupee stamp paper (don’t exactly remember which one was it). They shouldn’t charge more than 100 for it, plus the cost of stamp paper. In my case, it worked for the LIC policy.MMightywolf347

May 1, 2025 at 5:03 amSometimes, you may travel for a good deal. This person doesn’t seem so. Trust your insticts. But anyways if someone asks the address, you can tell a broad area without giving the specifics.May 1, 2025 at 4:47 am in reply to: What kind of scam is the scammer trying to pull off on OLX India? #4778MMightywolf347

May 1, 2025 at 4:47 amThis is. Anatural first step for me as a customer if I want to buy anything, honestly. To see if it’s feasible for me to collect the stuff or not. Say I live in Delhi but you live in Jaipur. To see of it’s convenient, I would like to know roughly from where I should pick it up. You don’t have to tell the full address, but the area around the house.May 1, 2025 at 4:14 am in reply to: What kind of scam is the scammer trying to pull off on OLX India? #4776MMightywolf347

May 1, 2025 at 4:14 amWhy would you try shipping on OLX? In my personal opinion, it’s better to share address and deal in cash. Online, there is more chance of a scam.MMightywolf347

April 27, 2025 at 2:12 amIn an ancestral property, you cannot give away property to just one person. Every person has rights to that property. If you sell the property, the other party would sue to declare the transaction null and void and your property could lie in litigation for ages.MMightywolf347

April 20, 2025 at 3:27 amA consumer court case can be filed. But donyou have a reciept or anything of that sort from the seller? As the seller is not officially registered, it may be a little tricky. Another way of making him suffer would be to file an anonymous GST complaint, if you are sure that his turnover is more than 10 lakhs. In that case, he is supposed to register for GST, and he can be fined if he hasn’t done so.April 12, 2025 at 4:09 am in reply to: When the investigation of the 26/11 terrorist is over… what Indian laws are stopping the govt from opening a public attraction where a person can whip him with a belt on the butt for the price of 1 to 1.5 lakh rupees… side hustle wise…? as stupid as that sounds.. is there technically a law ? #16667MMightywolf347

April 12, 2025 at 4:09 amIn criminal law, there cannot be ex-post facto law. Means, if a person committed an offence, you cannot make a law to decalre that offence is punishable by a higher penalty.Even if there was such a law, it would go gainst Article 21 of Indian Comstitution. There was a discussion about it in AK Gopalan v Union of India. The court there said that if there was a law to fry people in hot oil, people could be fried in hot oil. But later, this position itself changed. Such a law would go against Right to a dignified life under Article 21.
