We complain about the system but we keep feeding into the system as well. It’s just so sad. For a basic thing like marriage, especially in a country like ours which boasts of rich social and family structure. I don’t want to pay, but okay, will keep that option open.

Can’t travel to his country. So need to get it registered here. Is there a way around it? Because all of this needs to be done in a month and I don’t want the process to get stuck.

So there are only 3 government registered registrars for my ward. Only one does foreigner special marriage act. It’s a government service, shouldn’t it be done for free/minimal amount?

How can I avoid double registration? What documents will be required?
Can I forego the notice and objection for public?
Do I really need to hire a lawyer for this?
