April 10, 2025 at 11:21 amTell them to secure physical assets like jewelry and store it away in a locker. And don’t make BIL a nominee in any bank accounts, FD, PPF etc. Mom and dad should be each other’s nominees. Don’t let him access debit card, credit card, don’t give him OTP, and don’t even let him pay for OTT subscriptions etc from dad’s card. Also, they need to take some steps to increase physical distance from the son. Maybe they could put up the property for repair so he will be forced to vacate?

February 27, 2025 at 3:47 amSomehow makes me think the second wife must have been a minor/barely legal when she was coerced into it. Coz now the friend is grown up and the woman will most likely be under 40 to be pregnant and getting married again.Truly a shitty situation to liver half her life like this.
Even if she is not legally a wife, she was a live in partner and deserves some dignity.

February 20, 2025 at 9:24 amCompletely ignore them and live your life. They are just trying to scare you. The cost and time of taking you to court will be more than the money they are trying to recover.PPiyushking250

February 10, 2025 at 3:37 pmWas this Dubai by any chance. That happens there a lot. Many shady employers confiscate passports so you have no choice. either you have to pay or you go to labour court while also bearing the fine of overstaying the visa.PPiyushking250

February 10, 2025 at 12:37 pmI swear only in India I’ve heard that employees have to PAY to get out of a job. This won’t be legally enforceable in most of the world.January 23, 2025 at 8:55 am in reply to: Is it okay if bride and groom live separately after marriage? #68218PPiyushking250

January 23, 2025 at 8:54 amAffidavit can be challenged on several grounds.. It is a weak document bro, silly to go this route. Also, as everyone is saying, the matter will become more complex legally if you go ahead with the marriage. The woman is easily swayed. So, she can say she is being tortured at in laws home, husband has abandoned her (which will be true) and put several cases on you.
Better to hear parents’ gaali now than take a lifetime of court cases and stress.

January 23, 2025 at 4:35 amif the girl has destroyed the record and photos, then there’s nothing to worry about. And god forbid, if she brings it forward some day, say the pics are AI generated and Arya Samaj certificate generated from Canva. The onus is completely on the girl to prove she is not lying. It will be a big uphill battle for her to prove anything. So I would say to relax and keep complete distance. Tell your friend to block his ex from all social media, hibernate his LinkedIn, and not release any personal information. Basically, the ex shouldn’t be receiving any updates on his new life. Don’t leave any scope for jealousy/ unresolved feelings/ friendship. Block her out completely and tell him to change his number.

January 14, 2025 at 6:17 amhey I had the same issue. I am an NRI and our house in India is on rent. I stay with my dad whenever visiting home. Police refused to complete the verification for my daughter’s PP because of this and said I needed to apply from my dad’s PRO.After greasing some palms, and lot of appeasing and requesting, he called back “mam I am writing that you are an NRI and that the renters are your friends so you stay in their house whenever you visit.” Problem solved, PP received.
