April 18, 2025 at 9:12 amHi.Dint need to worry. Ask your father to meet the petrol pump guy. All Petrol pumps have to maintain accounts and will be having receipt (inward payment by your dad) and the payment (outward payment by pump operator /manager ). They can also provide on they their letter head. Once you have these details go to cyber crime police station and handover this doc and tell them on a covering letter that it is a legit transaction. Then the police will nor be able to freeze the account .PPrimeowl5754

April 18, 2025 at 8:14 amHi..if you have already paid the money then send an email to Chdgh cyber crime and attach the payment details then the police officer should be able to release it..in all probability he will be busy investigating other such crimes as volumes have shot up significantly. Try copying the Commissioner of Police in Chandigarh alsoPPrimeowl5754

April 18, 2025 at 7:08 amI read through the post. It is extremely distressing to read it as a lawyer and an ex banker Unfortunately I am based in NCR.Apart from filing an FIR..OP needs to Go to the bank in whose Cash Deposit Machine money was deposited and check which account the credits were being done. If the Bank refuses, ask Police to summon the bank with details. They need to extract the data from backup if need be. The Bank where the scammer has an account will be able to give KYC and other details to Police. This should be the srating point. If Police dont take interest use a lawyer to file FIR through court.

April 17, 2025 at 6:48 amHi OP.. ex banker and advocate here. I am based in NCR.Regarding your situation, it would make more sense for you to get the bank to return all the previous signed docs to you and sign afresh with lowest interest rates on their offering . I can understand your idea of filing a police complaint and going to RBI..none of these two actions is going to benefit you, ultimately you will.be burdened by having to depose before police repeatedly. If you have free time, then you can attrmpt this adventure!
Rather you should look at driving a hard bargain and close things and make sure that they acknowledge your help and that you are not going to leave them without expecting a concession.

April 16, 2025 at 4:02 pmSystemic issue= same problem with other POCO phones of the same model/series.If you are frustrated with Flipkart and POCO doing ping pong, it makes sense to tell them you are serious about going legal. First step get your advocate to issue a legal notice and give them 10 days time to respond else go to consumer court and ask for replacement of the phone or full repair at no cost+legal costs+compensation for mental agony caused by purchasing a useless phone.
Additionally, buy a say, Samsung equivalent model and ask for this cost also to be reimbursed !

April 16, 2025 at 3:45 pmIf it is a systemic issue, then all the reason. I will go one step further, buy another phone, attach the bill for replacement and ask for original POCO to be repaired+ Compensation for giving a useless, problem ridden phone and add cost of the new phone + legal costs and compensation for mental trauma and agony . Hit them hard where it hurts and make them run to court !April 16, 2025 at 2:38 pm in reply to: POCO X7 Pro Green Line & Black Dot on Screen โ Denied Warranty, Need Help! #13679PPrimeowl5754

April 16, 2025 at 2:38 pmRight thing to do will be to send a legal notice to both of them through an advocate and shake things up…next step if they dont listen..go to consumer court and ask for double the cost as compensationPPrimeowl5754

April 16, 2025 at 7:19 amThere is a legal solution..it is called an injunction order. You can ask an advocate to send a cease and desist legal notice to her. If she continues to harrass, then file a civil suit for perpetual injunction against her. This should shut her up.PPrimeowl5754
