In that case i have my doubts. The police jn India can be notorious in not doing it. If he so keen to talk to your friend ask him to send summons through proper channel, which jn your case is the local court of your district

Primarily make her settle and close the loans taken in his name. Mutual divorce is best for him to keep his sanity intact for the future.

Apply under RTI and find out the status. Widow pension although promised is low priority and funds may not be available. You have to be patient and pursue it

Then go to the EPFO facilitation counter and do it and then extract details for your main problem

EPFO money is deposited with Employees Provident Fund Organisation. Ask him for the UAN number and go to EPFO website and login and check.

                        Hi,

There is a national mission for smart metering – the noble purpose of the government is that people pay for the electricity they consume. It is basic constitutional duty of a citizen to pay for the energy we use. For awareness you can see this [State Wise Smart Metering Status | National Smart Grid Mission, Ministry of Power, Government of India](https://www.nsgm.gov.in/en/state-wise-map) and this YT video [Awareness | National Smart Grid Mission, Ministry of Power, Government of India](https://www.nsgm.gov.in/en/awareness-film).

The project is being pushed by the GoI as there are losses in transmission (power produced at certain cost but not being realised due to faulty cables etc) and electricity theft (people taking a connection but not paying for it). There are lot of people doing this especially people in powerful positions (a politician in UP was caught running his entire house without a meter).

I hope you have got the gist of what I wanted to say. Also you cannot stop a GEB from installing it- he is a govt employee and your dad can get into legal trouble for stopping a govt employee from doing his job at the minimum and worst case- get hauled up for electricity theft. Instead of paying monthly bills, a smart meter will be prepaid – recharge it like a prepaid mobile phone.

Well said..life will needlessly get complicated for all of them. If father is hauled for DV, then he may get suspended from job upon arrest amd then they have to fight him dor alimony and maintenance and spend money to hire an advocate. Your approach is sensible, restrained and will keep things within four walls of the house..

BO is not and should not be ever be the first point in the complaint redressal chain. Ultimately it has to be resolved ny bank only..BO resolution takes more time

For LGF i guess rent should be atleast 10000 but cannot be 15K. You first give the tenant atleast 3 months notice to vacate..tell him that you want it for yourself. If he does not shift OT offers to pay higher tell him the market rent and then ask him to get ready to sign a 11 months rent agreement. Collect his KYC docs and if need be get police verification forms also filled up and ask him to pay by Bank Transfer or UPI. This way you make it fully legit and secure yourself.
