That’s the best option, also the new company is picking you up as contractor, keep you expectation low, they may fire you as soon as the work is done or they have some financial distress. If they fire your company they can easily fire you. Prepare yourself for any outcomes.

Whatever you do will mostly be picked up in BGV and will affect your future career, do keep that in mind

Going through all these hoops you are just seeing things in short term.

This is basically a career suicide, many companies may not hire you later on given that you broke the non-compete.

No company can force you to stay back and work, weather there is buyout provision or not. If you don’t care about your experience letter you can drop a mail saying so so and is your last date and you are ready to buyout your notice period, else you have to leave due to personal reasons. But the employer is within their right to refuse buyout, but they can’t force you to work either, so they will refuse to give experience letter.

Other option is serve the notice period and start working for your next employer, since it’s a contract role, there should be minimal impact, as there won’t be any PF involved.

There are non-competes for a reason as the company is taking all the risks for you, and pays you even there is no project for a while.

If they are laying you off they have to pay for the notice period and any accumulated leaves. Notice period also depends on probation period. If you are in probation it’s likely you notice period is lower

If they are terminating you for any reason like performance, they are not liable to pay for your notice period however they have to pay you for the accumulated leave balance.

If they are terminating during PIP or after it citing performance issues, they mostly won’t pay you severance, they are not required to pay legally too..

However if you resign they have to pay you during notice period, and they will have to pay leave encashment and gratuity.

Yes airline is only required to give refund here as cancelation is not within 24 hrs.

You can request them an alternate flight. But since the cancelation is informed more than 24 hrs departure, I think they are liable only for the amount you paid, and nothing more.

You can try your luck asking for alternate flights

The case filed will be shown in BGV. They can file a FIR too as this is kinda serious offense.

What ever code or data your friend had produced during his tenure is considered property of the company.

This not only makes him liable, also has dented his career. Actions like this can easily make one non-hirable.

You can indeed file a case for unpaid wages, but if the company does file a case against your friend for his actions, it will show up in all background verification and essentially screws your friends future prospects.

My advice make a compromise with the company, your friend not filing any cases for wages in return for them not filing a case on your friend.

It’s his fault to share details without a NDA. It’s your right to decline the offer.

Return the card, as it’s not your. If you are uncomfortable with returning it in person, then ask someone to return it.

It’s upto you if you want to sign a NDA, do read it in detail before you sign it. Will avoid harassment if you sign it. Read it detail if it curtails any of your rights.

It doesn’t matter, it is also your fault for sharing the OTP without getting the product at hand. Amazon doesn’t have anything to do here. As per records you confirmed the delivery.

How is Amazon defrauding you?? You never share OTP until you receive the product, that is the only reason OTP based delivery exists.

There is nothing Amazon can do here, for all they know you could have kept the product and raised the complaint. The delivery guy will feign innocence.

Only way forward is to get the delivery guy number and name from Amazon and file a police complaint

You are eligible, but beware they might try to force you out citing low performance or other reasons, if you think it’s worth the risk go aheax
