April 30, 2025 at 12:06 pmI earn enough to be paying most people’s CTC as tax to the government but still don’t roam around converting corrupt people’s black money to white. Also you can’t do shit since you paid money as a donation, so not really entitled to get any money back. You can only try intimidating him to return money.April 30, 2025 at 10:46 am in reply to: Can I take legal action against a middle man who was involved in political party donations scam under 80GGC? #5241QQuickgauri6454

March 2, 2025 at 3:36 pmSimilar thing happened to me, for a ticket cancellation they sent out a mail on 11th Feb that refund has been processed and will reflect in account in 5 to 7 working days. I mailed them again on 22nd then they started replying with it will come in 2 days, 3 days and that they have escalated the matter and will revert back in a few days.
After multiple followups I got frustrated and lodged a consumer forum complaint and sent district/zomato a mail stating the same and also mentioned that I believe they had no intention of returning my money and just sent out a mail on 11th Feb hoping customer will not track the refund in account. Then immediately I got a call and the lady said they had some issues with the last refund transaction and have reprocessed the refund now and I got it in my account the next day.
I still believe that they had never actually refunded the transaction on 11th Feb and were just telling lies.

February 22, 2025 at 10:47 pmSo basically OP gave his friend 50 lakh black money to get 20% return in a year, which I assume will be again in cash. Because of people like him, most of the tax burden comes to salaried employees. -
