It is highly unlikely they’d file a case.

Even if they do you have a strong defence.

Would still recommend running the legal notice through a lawyer once. You can also share it with me if comfortable. I’m a practicing lawyer.

Service of legal notice through WhatsApp is a valid mod of service.

Do they have your personal information such as address, adhaar, email id etc? Or do they only have your phone number

You can run the legal notice through the lawyer and ascertain whether it’s worth replying to.

        Hope this helps.

A simple legal notice would do.

I was handling a similar case for my client (although it was against another food delivery app).

We sent them a legal notice and the issue was resolved in a week.

Serve him a legal notice asap.

In my experience as a lawyer he will keep delaying the process unless you indicate that you are more than eager to stake your claim.

Most landlords fall in line as soon as a demand notice is served upon them.

            Hope this helps.

              Yes I do.

              What’s the jurisdiction?

Where are you looking to file the case?

It will be difficult to justify such a long delay despite continuing cause of action.

Yes she will have to come clean and furnish all records.

It appears that you have a strong case. If you’re able to collect enough evidence it should not be a big issue. While courts grant alimony somewhere between 1/3rd to 1/5th of the husband’s income your case is slightly different since you’re better off financially. However you’d still be able to recover litigation costs fairly easily.

In my experience as a lawyer most husbands are okay with granting divorce once they realise their wives are serious about it. Most cases head for settlement thereafter.

The standard operating procedure is –

                      1. Write to the municipal corporation or any other designated authority (depends on city to city)

                      2. Serve them a legal notice

                      3. File a police complaint

The third one will make you party to the proceedings. While the first one shall keep you largely out of the loop

Not much to read into it.

Although you can try your luck and serve him a legal notice. Some landlords do end up paying so no harm in trying.

Now that’ll depend on where the property is.

                            Where is this property located?

The reason why certain insurance companies are often able to screw clients over is because of their lack of knowledge.

                              In my opinion you should:

                              1. Serve them with a legal notice.
                              2. File an appeal before the insurance ombudsman.
                              3. File a complaint before the National consumer helpline.
                              4. File a consumer complaint.

In my experience as a lawyer this is the standard practice adopted by companies when don’t want to pay up.

Serve them a legal notice asap before they try and sue you for breach of contract. It’s important to move swiftly in situations like this. Employers usually fall in line as soon as they are served with a legal notice.

You can file a case for abetment to suicide against her.

You can also file a complaint against her for running a commercial enterprise from her residence.
