Though I term this is a #fake post. But you have a good point to get back to stray sympathisers and you will definitely find some more cow lovers in the society to support this.

#Come cleanWhat do you want? No one is so innocent more now a days as you are trying to portray.
During these long decades that you stayed there you have always been a tenant as you were paying rent. Then you coaxed her and stopped paying rent. If she wanted to gift you this property she could have willed it to your family
For all that we know maybe she made a will in favour of some charity or mandir etc (donated it) or in favour of the distant relative and it didnāt see the light of the day.
You all also must have tried to get a gift deed or will etc in your favour but you donāt have any document so we can assume/say whatever it was she didnāt want to give it to you/your family.
#Otherwise the old lady who were the owner, and your family knew it all along that you guys, whatever may be, didnāt have the title and she didnāt pass it onto you guys.
If you share more details of the property as in the value, city/locality, and what portion of the house was rented to your father vis a vis what part of the property was under her possession the picture will become more clear
Donāt take me wrong but would also like to know if your father was employed by the old lady/her family etc in anyway at anytime or it was always a pure lessor lessee relationship and if so, where was your dad employed at what was his job?
You are no more than a possessor of the property today (legally/illegally) technically if that distant relative strikes his claim he will get it whether they deserve it or not thatās not for us to decide.

But why should you be keeping the material in your house for which you have received the refund ⦠you are not obliged to keep it for them itās your choice if they didnāt remove and paid you backSo you can always say I paid garbage company to remove it from your premises instead
And you donāt have it in your possession anymore and discarded it since it was broken and thatās why they refunded you the money

OP (the boy) has made this post using normal language but is well thought and written with help of legal person. He has time and again brought up issue of money and paying in cash and remembering cash again when topic otherwise gets more serious than money involved. Involving servant brought 70K is another evidence being pointed out particularly
Having said that the girl side story also looks botched up but isnāt legally drafted per se
As it be 498a/354 and more stringent sections ought/will/should be against the boy.
And as usual it will be settled in the end maybe after few days or years ⦠!!

Get more details of the co worker and his mobile number etc and get call details of the same period for him to see that they both are in the same location at the same time. This is just for your sadistic trip, not going to help legally.
Unless you are able to convince court to get these call records officially (they are available for 2 years) and then try to use it as evidence but merely present at the same location at same time implies nothing.Ask your PI to click pictures etc and you try to get her mobile phone or take photos or screen recording and get hotel check in records and try to bribe etc and get hotel CCTV recording ⦠but all these are little far fetched
Imp: proving adultery in court is almost impossible
Very rare casesHave you talked to her or tried some counselling maybe itās something else since by your message it looks more like your suspicion or intuition etc
Have you tried to engage with families and or society people to sort outMutually is only when she also agrees but may also back out
Maintence would have to be paid irrespective of anything. Take care black coat brothers will tell her to file bouquet of 3-4 cases and they all will end up in out of court settlement but after harassment and tension etc
but not to worry much since your wedding is 15 years unless you had issues problems earlier and she reported them to police or called 112 or hospital MLC etc she wonāt be able to cause you much harm 15 years is long time and mostly takes out the fizz of all legal cases per se.
I again suggest you both need to have counselling, to sort out amongst yourself first- courts will also refer you first for counselling and then mediation before the cases start moving fwd
