SFor smaller bailable offences, police can grant bail. It’s for the immediately non-bailable offences that the magistrate has to be approached.SYou’ll be surprised. Fraud redressal, in my experience, has been rather smooth. I had a 1.58L series of fraudulent transactions on my CC which was resolved in about 2-3 weeks. This has happened often enough that if anyone asks for money, the thing to do is to call them (not on WA) and ask them if they really asked for money. As in you lent him money on your own borrowings??
