March 14, 2025 at 8:54 amSince your brother was arrested for allegedly sharing nudes or intimate videos, the charges are probably under the IT Act (66E, 67, 67A) and the new BNS 2023 (107, 109, 118, 316, 317). Some of these are bailable (66E, 109, 118), but others aren’t (67, 67A, 107, 316, 317), meaning he might need to apply for bail in court. The cops have to take him to a magistrate within 24 hours, who’ll decide if he gets bail or stays in custody. First things first, get a copy of the FIR ASAP, let your lawyer handle everything, and push for bail immediately. Cyber police will probably check his phone and other devices, if this is his first offense and it wasn’t deliberate, the court might just give him a warning or a fine instead of jail.March 14, 2025 at 5:50 am in reply to: Someone damaged my car in the society parking. March 14, 2025 at 5:50 amYes. For BNS it includes section 316 (mischief) . And if the deny the police officials then section 118( for obstruction)
and section 94 by police for production of evidenceMarch 14, 2025 at 5:40 am in reply to: Someone damaged my car in the society parking. Society Ignoring request for CCTV Footage – What Are My Legal Options? #35934SSanketbear713

March 14, 2025 at 5:40 amYour society is clearly hiding the culprit . You have the right to access CCTV footage, especially since it’s about your own property. They can’t legally refuse or delay without a valid reason. First, send a formal written request stating the date/time of the incident and the urgency (CCTV MAY OVERWRITE SOON). If they ignore it, file a police complaint (NC) mentioning IPC 425 (Mischief) and CrPC 91, which allows cops to order the footage. If that doesn’t work, escalate to the Deputy Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Mumbai, who can fine them for negligence. Still no luck? Send a legal notice warning of legal action for obstructing evidence and negligence. Time is critical—act fast, get the cops involved, and escalate if needed.SSanketbear713

March 12, 2025 at 8:36 amThey don’t even require a person out there as everything is already timed in classroom itself by the invigilator . For bathroom each student is required to get 2 breaks of 5 mins each . The school might have set up its own rules .SSanketbear713

March 11, 2025 at 7:56 pmYes it is illegal . Probably they set it up for anti cheating measures or misuse or breaking of toilets but damn it’s too much . You can get someone to go talk to the authorities there . If they listen good if they don’t you’ll have to probably go to higher ups like police or CBSE .SSanketbear713

March 11, 2025 at 10:05 amBetter to go to sub registrar and check for encumbrance certificate , it mentions if there is any loan or legal claim on the land you purchased also land revenue records to check that the land is in your name or not .
After checking above options if your name is not there then you will probably need a lawyer for legal notice to the seller .SSanketbear713

March 11, 2025 at 6:51 amThat driving school is straight-up scamming you. The actual cost of a driving license in Haryana is like ₹700-₹1,000, not ₹10,000. You already paid ₹5,000, which is way more than necessary, and now they want another ₹5,000? Absolute BS.Since you already have your Learner’s License (LL), just go straight to the Mini Secretariat (RTO) in Gurgaon and handle it yourself. Bring your LL, ID, address proof, and any receipts from those scammers. Your LL expires on March 15, so book the test ASAP. You can also do it online at Parivahan. It’s super easy—fill out the form, upload docs, pay the small official fee, and book your test.
If the driving school gives you crap, remind them you know the actual process and fees. If they still don’t cooperate, report them to the RTO or even file a consumer complaint. These guys love scamming newcomers, so don’t let them play you. Go get your license the right way!
