I understand I need to pay bounce and penal charges , but not paying them immediately doesn’t make loan account NPA. I had checked with banks like RBL even that collection manager said , if one is closed and other is classified as NPA , other would release from NPA as soon as main account which was not serviced is closed or settled . He said RBL , SBI etc has same rule . He was confused as to why Yes bank has different

Moreover they are telling me to pay the outstanding on credit card to regularise and also said even if you pay pending charges on loan you loan won’t be out of NPA . I have in total cleared 5 lakh out of 8 lakh loan

I believe you didn’t read the part where I said Yes bank credit card is settled and closed and have NoC . Currently only one loan is running which is car loan . No other loan from yes bank as card is closed long back

            1) if you had sex before marriage : make sure you have proof that it was consensual. Like on WhatsApp or recording or hotel booking on her name

            2) if you called off wedding : hope your call was recorded ? Or atleast on text it was written ? If not suggest do it with the reason . So that atleast you can proof that you called off wedding due to lack of compatibility between couples .

MMT is pathetic . I booked a hotel once in Nainital , as my wife had to work from home and we were getting late , so thought to book it through MMT . Hotel website had mentioned WiFi on it and it was good 3-4 star rated hotel . But when we reached hotel , front office said yes we have WiFi but only in lobby not in rooms . I was like WTF , so I refused to check in . When I raised with MMT they started putting it on me , while I had all screenshots , and no where it was mentioned WiFi only in lobby . I wasted my 5-6000 rs . Despite sending all the proofs and even emailing CEO , no refund was given . Sent legal notice to MMT they didn’t even responded to that . From that day I decided not to use MMT .

On the other hand I now use TRIP.Com their customer service is top notch , we booked hotel last month on Kullu ( our first time there ) , on photos it was good , when we reached hotel, they gave us room on 4th floor and no elevators & I had aged parents with me . Somehow we managed , next day when we complained to trip , and submitted all proof . Not only they gave us refund , they gave us refund also for the day we stayed in .

MMT is pathetic and they don’t care about you or your money .

In addition to previous comment , please ignore the comments which say you have to pay , I repeat you DO NOT HAVE TO PAY

In India, if a credit card holder passes away without paying their debt, the liability does not transfer to their family members or heirs, unless they were explicitly listed as co-applicants or guarantors for the credit card.

According to the RBI guidelines, banks cannot force family members or heirs to repay the debt, unless they have explicitly taken on the liability or have been declared as co-applicants or guarantors.

The credit card issuer will write off the debt as a bad loan, and it will not affect the credit score of the deceased person’s family members or heirs.

Family member are not legally obligated to repay the debt of deceased person

Hi , credit cards are unsecured and has no co borrower or co guarantor or co signer atleast not in India . You or your family is not responsible even for paying a single dime . They will try to take money out of you and collection agents will say it’s blah blah , just slap them with death certificate of your father . I repeat DO NOT pay , not even a rupee .

And those saying bank will sell assets , no they can’t , it has to go under SARFESI act and only loan above 20 lakh is counted in sarfesi act . They can not even take possession of assets without court notice , they have to file a case against person who took the loan when that person is deceased that case will not stand and petition will get rejected
