      If you can’t work for the notice period and are sure that they will not leave u go without it then simply threaten HR saying u will self harm if they don’t give it in 99% of cases HR let’s u go immediately for optics and avoiding legal trouble and bad PR. This is a bit drastic so exhaust all other options before trying.

        Technically yes but she can trap you in an bunch of cases usually people in these rare cases ( when woman might have to pay up) they just decide to mutually drop everything.

            Some people have mentioned judgements where the data was asked to be deleted

              We had a similar case filed by a Dubai based NRI in Mumbai high court basically exerting his right be forgotten as his name whenever googled by his prominent clients resulted in a case of domestic violence leading a good percentage of them to believe he was a wife beater. The high court quashed his request so I don’t think you will have much success but I might be wrong.

                    Go to a lawyer get the papers in your name also if you truly believe they’ll harm you go file a complaint with the police and get a restraining order(court order that says if they come near the house without you’re explicit permission then they’ll go to jail).
