February 14, 2025 at 4:33 amIf this is true then there are 2 options1. She can go to the closest police station. I can’t imagine how she might be looking but after taking a look at her condition – the cops will contact the NGOs and take action against the father.
2. If she cannot escape, someone should try diversion techniques for her to escape. If that doesn’t work call “100” and provide all details and the cops usually arrive within an hour depending on the time of the day the complaint is made.
If this is really true, there are two options:
1. She can go to the nearest police station. The cops will assess her condition, bruises etc. and contact the right NGO for supporting her as well as take action against her father. If she cannot escape, someone should try diversion techniques to help her escape.
2. If that doesn’t work call ‘100,’ to provide all details and the police will usually arrive within an hour, depending on the time of day and take necessary action.

February 14, 2025 at 1:55 amOP, If your relative can prove she lied it will weaken her case.He should collect evidence and also file a police complaint stating that she is blackmailing him. This might put her on the back foot (hopefully). Also, get a lawyer quickly so that he can file for anticipatory bail for when she files false cases. Avoid direct contact or any unofficial settlements. Handle all communication through a lawyer. Be ready to file cases to counter her false cases – defamation, blackmail, harassment if she continues making threats.

February 4, 2025 at 4:00 pmOP, your post is vague about whether these alleged false cases are being filed against Indian men in India, Indian American men or American men. Also since there’s no news coverage about this – it seems to be a rumor or speculation.February 2, 2025 at 2:36 am in reply to: Im getting paid twice every month by my company. January 31, 2025 at 10:25 amOP, If you feel that no action is being taken you can approach a magistrate under Sec. 156(3) CrPC and request an independent investigation or filing of additional charges. Also, maybe take legal advice to see if Sec. 200 CrPC would be a better option ( file a private complaint before a magistrate).Police inaction is a real problem, but because they deal with so many false or exaggerated cases, they often become skeptical – even when a case is genuine.

January 30, 2025 at 1:12 pmOh, the irony? The real i-r-o-n-y is you defending someone who was busy throwing Margot Robbie under the bus and **handing out “misogyny” and “creepy” labels like free samples**. If pointing that out makes me unfair, then I guess misandry is just invisible to you. Thanks for the link to my comment. I appreciate it. **Many people from your group who like to slander others often forget to provide the context**.
So, about my joke – maybe you should take a breath and read it again *without* the outrage filter. The article gave a completely one-sided sob story, completely ignoring the husband’s perspective. Given how high male suicide rates are, asking *what drove them to alcoholism* isn’t “victim-blaming”—it’s just wanting the *full* story. But I get it – acknowledging that men can be victims too doesn’t fit your narrative, does it?

January 29, 2025 at 4:54 amSo when women get biased legal protections, it’s ‘justice,’ but when they exploit those same laws, it’s just an inconvenient detail? Partial treatment is partial treatment – doesn’t matter who benefits.Or is fairness only a concern when it’s men on trial, misandrist Karen?

January 29, 2025 at 4:52 amLol, So laws shouldn’t be neutral because society is unfair? By that logic, men should get biased laws too since they face higher suicide rates, false accusations, and harsher punishments. Or does ‘justice’ only work one way – when they work in your favor? Keep coping, misandrist Karen!January 29, 2025 at 4:44 am in reply to: Change my view: misandrist laws exist because misogynist men exist #64395SSilentasha903

January 29, 2025 at 12:55 amOP – the framing of your post is problematic. You’re framing the issue like slapping a “misogynist” label on anyone who disagrees will somehow solve the real complexities. It doesn’t. **Ironically, your post reads more like a manifesto for misandry than a critique of misogyny** 😂– Calling anyone who questions women-centric laws a “misogynist” is a stretch. Misogyny means active hatred or discrimination against women, not just criticism of laws or skepticism about how they’re applied.
– Cultural norms around divorce and women’s roles are sometimes an issue, but **laws exist to address legal inequities not to fix social and cultural attitudes**. We should tackle cultural change separately from legal **Don’t mix them**.
– Women play a big part in perpetuating harmful cultural norms and in enforcing these expectations. Ignoring that only oversimplifies the issue and misses the main point.
– If you **own up to the fact that women play a big role in perpetuating harmful stereotypes** – it would open the door to a more **honest discussion** about how everyone contributes to these norms and in my view, that’s the **first step toward finding real solutions**.
