SIndia post does not work like a private business delivery company.
They follow very strict rules.
Even though the address is tricky or not found or for any other reasons… That article lies in the nearest post office for 7 days. After 7 days, they try to deliver it again. If unable to find an address. Then it will be sent back to the sender.
So, you too had a chance to collect it from the post office. But, you missed it. Now it went back to the sender.
India post still follows traditional methods. It has been the same thing for decades.
The postman will not give a call even if the phone number is available or not.

I too have data on my phone. I never opted for the sync option.
I think i should keep backing up from time to time to my laptop.
