March 25, 2025 at 2:02 pmLegally you can make an argument for not granting alimony if the women is earning, also by law it has to be paid to the spouse (not man or woman specifically) who needs support.Practically there are many factors that skew the outcome towards women getting alimony even when not required.
Many judges instead of relying on legal conditions, follow the traditional orthodox mindset that every woman is weak and helpless and needs money from husband. This makes it easier for the lawyers to get money for the woman. There are exceptions when it comes to judges.
Lawyers sometimes even those representing the men would put up less of a fight when it comes to maintenance and alimony. I don’t know what is the reason but the observable difference in the attitude of some lawyers suggest everyone takes a cut.
If there is no alimony there is no fund from which those people who take a cut can extract their pound of flesh. They would also extract from woman if possible, but it is easier for all to extract from the man.
Ideally lawyers are not supposed to take a cut from the payouts, but corruption is a lot more than literacy in the country so that would not be a surprise.

February 3, 2025 at 5:41 pmI see many people acting as if watching anything sexual or looking at other women is also a crime and should be punished.I see that he is looking at adult content which in normal for an adult, but you mentioned he tried to meet up with someone which is crossing the line.
You also mentioned they cancelled the plans and stopped; I think you believe they did not indulge any further.
You guys need some sex education or therapy. There are psychologists who specialize in sexual counselling.
The fact that you are scared and shocked that he is watching some content shows that you also need some sex education and need to understand adult sexual behaviors.
Some things are normal, and some would cross the line.
You are not a bot that needs specific instructions, humans have situational awareness and make the best judgement as per reality.
Criminalizing any sexual behaviors is a path to doom for any couple.
Understand things better and then draw your boundaries.
Also, this does not seem to be a suitable question for Legal advice sub but some other forum.

January 21, 2025 at 9:03 amThat advice is best from a lawyer. I won’t comment on that. You need to deal with your emotions and get yourself well to fight or fix things.

January 21, 2025 at 8:53 amShe not only ended the relationship, but became your enemy and attacked you the moment she agreed to file a case against you. You need to maybe go through therapy and accept the facts and deal with your emotions. After thinking through this you need to decide how to fight the cases against you that are being filed with the purpose of harming you.

January 20, 2025 at 3:14 pmUsually it is the name that is present in aadhar, pan or other valid documents. Not a lawyer, but may need the name as in the marriage certificate for this case. Best to confirm with a lawyer. Lawyer asked me for Aadhar and marriage certificate for court. For men it is all same so not sure which one is used. -
