March 24, 2025 at 9:37 amIt has to be done via an advocate, who specialises in MACT cases. They usually work on % basis and the going rate is 20-25% of the compensation amount. It will be filed in a MACT court and the insurance company of the bus is liable to pay the compensation which is awarded. Also, Keep all the expense reports/bills, taxi bills, original tickets etc.
Edit: additionally, all banks/debit/credit cards usually have a personal accident cover included in them. Check if your parents have any of them.

February 18, 2025 at 7:23 pmI had the exact same issue, but in the Netherlands.2021 Sony model KE-55A87 bought in 2021, which developed a panel issue in 2024. The TV was outside warranty and they (Sony) offered a replacement with K-55XR84 if I paid them 750β¬ (~βΉ68000). They acknowledged that itβs an issue with these TVs but didnβt offer a free replacement.
Luckily I had insurance, which covered the costs.
