May 4, 2025 at 6:30 amNALFaced this a while ago. The company was Airtel. Had taken fiber connection and after using it for 1 year, requested for disconnection and pickup was scheduled 2 days before I was leaving the house.
On the day of pickup, the pickup guy called and told me he cant come because of some issue. I said ok, I will talk to the pickup coordinator. I informer the coordinator of this and all was good.
Then they failed to pick up the router the next day as well. I called them at 6PM and told them they have exactly 3 hours to pickup the router as after 9PM, I wont open gate to strangers and next morning I was leaving.
Got a call from them after a week. They asked me to return the router.
I told them that I already vacated the premises and that they can visit the house and beg the owner to let them pick up the router.
A few days later they again called and this time I was fed up and told them “I have recording of all call logs, if I hear from you once again, I will make sure I get the better end of the stick and get hefty compensation for the harassments I am facing.” I asked the call agent’s name and told them to write the exact words I said into their response as well.
They never called again.
Now the answers to your question,
1. Yes, but it wont have any effect. You will always have the better end of the deal. The court will take your side at the end and even the police know that.
2. No, you had, well in advance, told them to collect it. You are not liable as they failed to do their own duty and instead harassed you unnecessarily.
3. Respond by stating “Already had informed well in advance to collect the router and the pickup team failed to do so. If you proceed with police complaint or legal route, I will make sure to involve my lawyer and make this a bigger lawsuit and address it as mental harassment. Also, I am reporting the same to TRAI and Consumer forum.”
The thing is. no company will go to court just for a measly 1000Rs router. Moreover in this case, it it completely their fault for not picking up the router in due time. So just chill and threaten them the same way I did.
The next time they call, ask for the agent’s name as well and file a consumer complaint against the company on INGRAM (if you have time). They will stop calling.

April 4, 2025 at 11:46 pmDo not send money to any account that they request you to.Also dont sent them any money back.
Ask them to file a dispute in their own bank. They can chargeback and get the amount reversed from their side.

February 21, 2025 at 7:59 pmWere you supposed to get any money back? Any security deposit that you had paid during Installation? If not, the next time they call you, tell them you don’t have the router and to stop calling you again and again.
Ask for the customer executive’s name. Then tell them you will proceed to complaint if you ever receive any calls from them. Tell them to mark the same in their system and that should be the final call.
They will stop calling.

January 31, 2025 at 7:18 amOmbudsman should do the trick then. The bank is illegally charging you money for a loan you didnt take.File a ombudsman report. Meanwhile just in case talk to a lawyer or two who have some knowledge in civil lawsuits against banks and financial institutions (in case the bank retaliates by firing you, which has less than 5% chance of happening).

January 31, 2025 at 4:12 amIf there was a genuine problem from Kotak’s side, it shouldn’t affect your employer employee relationship. However, if there is any retaliatory action taken against you, that’s on Kotak, and you will have to lawyer up for it separately.
Both the issues are different and if they take such action, you could drag them to the Labour court as well.
I would suggest to escalate the issue to highest level on Kotak before ultimately filing complaint on Ombudsman.
CC the Higher authorities and give them 5 working days to work on it. Tell them you aren’t satisfied with the treatment and response you are getting from the normal customer support team and ask them to interfere otherwise you will raise the issue to Ombudsman level.
If they don’t respond to you or don’t take action acceptable to you, you should directly raise it to Ombudsman.
Fill the Ombudsman form genuinely and tick the Employer Employee relation box.

January 30, 2025 at 9:00 pmIf Kotak has mailed you asking for time for investigation and given a date, you will have to wait atleast 30 days from the date of 1st complaint to proceed to Ombudsman. However if they have given their final verdict, you should file a complaint on Ombudsman immediately.

January 30, 2025 at 8:03 amWhat that uncle has done is, he paid you using UPI, took cash. Then he went home and filed complaint with his own bank that he transferred it by mistake. He also has done cybercell complaint possibly.
Their bank has then filed a complaint with your bank who has now blocked the funds in your account.
Now you will have to visit your nearest cyber cell and ask them for the reason of this account blocking.
You will most probably loose that UPI transferred amount by uncle.
You will have to then ask Cyber Cell to release the remaining balance and keep this “uncle scam money” on lien.

January 29, 2025 at 7:06 amNALAsk for FIR Copy mentioning your friends name from NAVI.
If they produce the same, check online for that FIR.
Talk to a lawyer and take action accordingly. Most likely you can try to settle for lower amount than what you owe them.
So talk to a lawyer and get to the conclusion.

January 29, 2025 at 6:59 amWomen will always win the legal battle unless the Man and his family has the money to bribe and turn the case against her.If the Man has more money and power, the women will obviously loose.
But if the Women falsely accuses normal middle class people who don’t earn a lot and probably live as tenant and have loans, they will get no benefits from the laws.
Women have all the legal advantage. The example you take is probably where the guy’s family is rich and can afford bribing the officials and judges OR to suppress the women and her family.

January 20, 2025 at 3:44 pmParents will have to physically be present at the school. If they deny at that time, your parent can claim that the school is keeping their property, which is not legal. But the principal can counter by showing their rules and say if you want the phone, then we will proceed with TC, etc…
Let your parents decide and talk it out to the principal. They are adults and can negotiate better.
The only possibility of getting the phone back is
Your parents can simply claim they won’t pay next year fees unless they give the phone back.
The school can’t kick you out easily because of CBSE and board guidelines.
So that’s the safest bet.
