Next time get water from his shop and bring it to your place yourself. He won’t charge 130Rs for that.

Well as the bank has contacted you about the same. You ask the bank as well as the law firm to give you a written acknowledgement about the same and then you give them consent to reversal of the funds. Then at the time of filing taxes u attach those letters.

If the worker is from UP/Bihar then nothing will happen. His family will get some pennies and that’s it.

The first thing would be cutting the electricity connection.
Then water connection by informing the society about the situation which is going on.
Then go to the rent control board and police.
Also at the same time please deposit those cheques in the bank and then file a police complaint for bounced cheques once they are bounced.

                        >if we reach out to the police?

you will get in legal trouble.

                        >I was young at that time nor I had any knowledge about it.

Not sure why you mentioned this.

                        >any way we can recover the money?

Asking them politely. Keep asking them. Without harassment.

the moment you will try to take a legal action your mother and you will land in legal trouble. Individuals in India aren’t allowed to lend money on interest basis. There are laws against this.

1 ) Yes, you definitely can move out. No one can stop you from doing that.
                            2) Your parents don’t owe you any financial support.

3 ) If you have money then everything else can be managed easily.

                            4) No, the Government doesn’t have direct programs which support you financially. But the Government do run programs which can provide you with daily works with good wgea which can help you sustain. Your best bet would be working in the hospitality industry such as Hotels, Restaurants etc.

Police beat almost everyone, even rich and influential if the opposing party is more rich and influential or important.
