April 3, 2025 at 7:13 pmHey, lawyer here, my suggestions below:1. Bond periods with liquidated damages aren’t enforceable unless the amount is reasoned. What this means is that if they’re forcing you to work for a minimum period of time, failing which, you’ll have to pay them a certain amount, then the contract is illegal. However, if they’ve spent money on training you or some certificate course you’ve pursued, then they can demand that amount.
2. Quit the place if you don’t like it. They can’t force you to stay. It’s given in the Contract Act too. But get an offer in hand first, and then quit.
3. Mention the 7-8 months on your CV anyway. No harm. If you have your joining letter or offer letter, there’s enough proof of you having worked there. It doesn’t matter whether they give the reliving letter or not.
