Don’t bother if you cannot yourself go there and work it out. This is not utopic India where you file a complaint and the authorities start working hard on the case and get you justice.

Work in parallel to safeguard your family especially male members. Next false charges would be on them. You are in the US, they aren’t.

Do it include ancestral properties because if at the time I am a legal heir and still there is a karta, I am entitled to it in the future not currently, it cannot be attached.
