My suggestion would be to resign( basically instead of laying you off – they want you to do it yourself ) – search for new job and after FNF – name shame the company on LinkedIn !

Keep track of those mails in your personal space as sometimes they lock your laptop and you would not have anything on hand to show for proof !

Have you reached out to your finance team to discuss on this ??

Most probably they can share workaround for this but if they persist for paying 3L , AFAIK you can raise complaint on ministry of labour !
